Clear The List 2022

Thank you to all who have shared their back-to-school lists with us as part of our 1st crowdfunding effort!

For weeks now we’ve been telling you about Mothering Spirit, the new ecumenical, collaborative community we’re launching this Labor Day to share stories, prayers, and resources from diverse voices to help you pray through parenting.

But now we want to hear from you – and put our collective prayer into action.

As we’re preparing to launch in September, we know many of you are preparing, too. Buying school supplies. Prepping your classrooms to welcome new students. Planning a new year of activities at church.

We want to help you “clear your list” of the everyday goods you need to do the holy labor God has called you to do.

If you share your wish list with us (usually done on Amazon or Target for easy shipping), we’ll share it with our readers. Whether you need supplies for the kids in your home, school, church, or community, we can pitch in to help.

Please note: we won’t be vetting the recipients of this effort. This is simply mutual aid we’re encouraging, taking the risk to love and give. We also can’t promise that your list will be cleared, but we’ll help spread the word!

The vision and hope of Mothering Spirit is to support each other as we care for God’s children.

We can’t do everything, but we can each do something. Let’s start today.

Check out the lists below & please give whatever you can – prayers, shares on social media, or school supplies – to support these teachers, catechists, educators, and parents! Please note that some lists may get cleared as we go, so try another if the one you selected no longer lists any items.
